Key Responsibilities

The PMO Manager will be responsible for leading the assessment and continuous improvement of PMO governance, organizational performance, compliance, and project delivery practices. This role requires strategic foresight, analytical rigor, and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations that drive sustainable change across the national transformation program.

Performance Assessment & Reporting

• Conduct periodic assessments of project performance against approved plans, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze project and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop comprehensive executive reports and performance insights to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

• Evaluate compliance with established governance frameworks, policies, and project management procedures.
• Identify gaps in processes, governance risks, and areas requiring corrective actions.
• Document governance observations and propose practical improvement initiatives to enhance accountability and transparency.

Process Improvement & Organizational Excellence

• Review and enhance PMO methodologies, procedures, templates, and governance documentation to align with best practices.
• Assess the effectiveness of digital processes and automation tools to drive operational efficiency.
• Pinpoint process bottlenecks and recommend optimization initiatives to streamline workflows and improve productivity.

Knowledge Management & Capability Development

• Evaluate stakeholder satisfaction and the effectiveness of project governance structures.
• Support knowledge transfer initiatives and organizational capability development to foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Review the technical and financial performance of ongoing projects, highlighting areas for enhancement and sustainable growth.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Management, or a related field. A master’s degree, particularly an MBA, is highly advantageous.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in PMO, project management, governance, organizational performance, or management consulting.
• Proven expertise in assessing governance frameworks, optimizing processes, and driving performance improvements in complex environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills to engage effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
