Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mason to join our maintenance team, where excellence in craftsmanship and customer service are paramount. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality masonry and civil works to maintain the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of our facilities, including public areas and guest rooms. Your expertise will ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards while delivering exceptional results that enhance the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Mason will undertake a variety of critical tasks to uphold the property’s infrastructure and appearance. Your duties will include:

• Masonry and Civil Works: Execute all tiling, grouting, blocking, and other assigned civil duties within the complex, ensuring precision and durability.
• Preventive Maintenance: Adhere to and execute preventive maintenance schedules for masonry-related tasks as directed by management, minimizing potential issues before they arise.
• Repair and Restoration: Perform repairs, maintenance, and alterations on buildings, retaining walls, brick or stone structures, and other masonry elements to ensure longevity and safety.
• Construction and Installation: Mix mortar, lay bricks and stones, construct sidewalks, and fabricate or repair steps. Additionally, patch and replace brick or stonework, including chimneys, and install or repair tile floors and walls.
• Blueprints and Finishing Work: Interpret blueprints accurately and execute plastering for ceilings and walls, ensuring a flawless finish.
• Estimation and Carpentry: Assess masonry projects by estimating material and labor requirements, and perform incidental carpentry work as needed to support masonry tasks.
