Position Overview
The Warehouse Logistics Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of BCC’s warehouse facilities in Dammam. This full-time, on-site position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse logistics, including the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of construction materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams to align warehouse operations with site requirements and project schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective material flow. This role demands strong leadership capabilities to supervise warehouse staff, enforce safety and compliance standards, and maintain meticulous stock records and documentation. The Warehouse Logistics Manager will also be tasked with optimizing warehouse space utilization, monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers and transport providers, and resolving logistics challenges to enhance operational efficiency and support customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations Oversight: Manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching construction materials and equipment, while ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records, monitor inventory levels, and implement strategies to prevent shortages or overstocking, ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and productivity to meet operational goals.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce warehouse safety protocols and regulatory compliance to create a secure working environment and mitigate risks associated with material handling and storage.
- Supplier and Transport Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials, negotiate favorable terms, and resolve any transportation or supply chain disruptions.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes, leveraging warehouse management systems (WMS), basic ERP tools, and MS Office for reporting and data tracking to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between warehouse operations, project teams, and external partners, providing clear and timely updates to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Address logistics challenges proactively, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to minimize disruptions and maintain operational continuity.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must possess a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and operational knowledge. The ideal candidate will have:
- Professional Experience: A proven track record in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics operations, preferably within an industrial or construction environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), basic ERP tools, and MS Office applications for reporting, data analysis, and inventory tracking.
- Leadership and Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a warehouse team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Operational and Supply Chain Expertise: Experience in operations management and supply chain coordination, with the ability to align warehouse activities with broader project and business objectives.

- Communication and Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to resolve issues and build strong relationships.

- Educational Background: A relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
