The Opportunity
Are you passionate about transforming healthcare capabilities across the Middle East? As our Regional Capability Lead, you will play a pivotal role in defining and scaling commercialization capabilities that empower our teams to deliver groundbreaking healthcare solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to operate as a strategic expert while laying the foundation for a future team. You will collaborate with commercial, access, regulatory, and medical functions to drive operational excellence and enable the delivery of life-changing innovations to patients.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Capability Development: Conduct comprehensive functional and cross-functional assessments to identify capability gaps and design strategic learning pathways. Develop regional capability heat maps to prioritize and align development initiatives with business objectives.
- Regional Transformation Leadership: Lead and support regional change initiatives and organizational development projects, ensuring alignment with broader healthcare business goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Innovative Learning Solutions: Design and deliver highly engaging, interactive workshops and training programs—both in-person and virtual—that cover scientific, commercial, and behavioral competencies. Leverage blended learning platforms to create impactful, modern learning experiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global and local teams, including internal departments and external stakeholders, to represent regional development needs. Scale existing training programs and ensure their seamless integration across the organization.
- Team Building & Future Readiness: Identify emerging skill requirements, align regional budgets, and establish the groundwork for recruiting, onboarding, and coaching a high-performing team to support future growth.
Your Profile
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and collaborative leader with a passion for transforming operational challenges into structured, modern learning experiences within complex healthcare environments. To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Educational & Professional Background: A degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Economics, or equivalent practical experience in operational effectiveness and adult learning.
- Learning & Development Expertise: Proven experience in designing curriculums, implementing blended learning solutions, and applying adult learning principles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Change Management Proficiency: A strong track record in guiding strategic organizational development, managing change initiatives, and applying both classic and agile methodologies to drive transformation.
- Strategic Communication & Influence: Exceptional facilitation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders, influence decisions, and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrated experience or clear potential in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and developing high-performing teams to support future organizational needs.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients and healthcare systems across the Middle East.
