About the Role

As a Senior Security Assurance Solutions Architect specializing in AWS Security Assurance Services, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing robust security frameworks for enterprise clients within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This position is exclusively available for KSA nationals and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects while leveraging cutting-edge AWS technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including cloud engineers, security analysts, and business stakeholders, to ensure that security solutions align with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Architecture Design: Develop and architect comprehensive security solutions tailored to client environments, ensuring alignment with AWS best practices, industry standards, and regulatory mandates such as NCA (National Cybersecurity Authority) guidelines in KSA.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and propose actionable mitigation strategies, including the implementation of AWS security services such as IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and AWS Config.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure that security architectures adhere to global and regional compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and GDPR, while addressing specific KSA regulatory requirements.
• Client Engagement and Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on security best practices, threat modeling, and incident response strategies. Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions to enhance client security posture.
• Solution Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine security architectures to enhance performance, scalability, and resilience, leveraging AWS services such as AWS Shield, AWS WAF, and AWS KMS.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Work alongside internal teams, including sales, professional services, and support, to drive security initiatives, resolve escalations, and ensure seamless project delivery.
• Innovation and Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging security trends, threats, and AWS innovations to recommend forward-thinking solutions that future-proof client environments.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a blend of technical expertise, industry certifications, and soft skills. The ideal candidate will have:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are highly desirable.
• Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are required. Additional certifications in cloud security, compliance, or risk management are a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of AWS security services, networking, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and threat detection. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in information security, with at least 3+ years in a solutions architecture or security consulting role. Prior experience in enterprise security, cloud security, or regulatory compliance is essential.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical audiences and foster collaborative relationships.
• Regional Expertise: Familiarity with KSA’s cybersecurity landscape, regulatory environment, and business culture. Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
