Position Overview
FGC is actively seeking a dynamic and results-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee the Central Warehouse, which plays a pivotal role in supporting the System Integration Division and broader business operations. This leadership position demands a hands-on approach to managing daily warehouse activities while driving excellence in inventory accuracy, ERP compliance, process optimization, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in preparing the warehouse for the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS), ensuring seamless integration and enhanced functionality. Key Responsibilities
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for a wide range of critical functions, including:
- Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee and continuously enhance daily warehouse operations, encompassing receiving, storage, picking, issuing, transfers, and dispatch activities. Ensure that all processes are executed with precision, safety, and efficiency to meet operational targets.
- Storage Optimization & Layout Design: Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout and storage utilization, maximizing space efficiency while maintaining accessibility and safety standards.
- Inventory & ERP System Management: Maintain meticulous inventory records within Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring all transactions are accurately processed through the ERP system. Manage warehouse locations, bin structures, and inventory accuracy to eliminate discrepancies and reduce reliance on manual records or spreadsheets.
- Process Improvement & Digital Transformation: Lead the implementation and enforcement of approved Warehouse Policies, Procedures, and Manual (PPM). Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and support the warehouse’s transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS). This includes process design, barcode implementation, system testing, and comprehensive user training.
- Inventory Optimization & Performance Monitoring: Develop and oversee cycle counting and inventory reconciliation programs to maintain high levels of accuracy. Monitor inventory ageing, identify slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete stock, and implement corrective actions. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, GRN processing, material issuance, picking accuracy, productivity, and space utilization to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead, mentor, and develop the warehouse team to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Work closely with Procurement, Logistics, Projects, Finance, and ERP teams to ensure seamless material flow, system compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications & Competencies
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following competencies:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of warehouse management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role such as Warehouse Manager or equivalent. Prior experience in industries such as System Integration, ICT, Electronics, Networking, ELV, AV, or Technology Distribution is highly advantageous.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a comparable ERP system. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP process improvement initiatives is preferred.
- Core Competencies:
