Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as the EM Launch Lead for Imaavy and EMEA VMAX PAH Product Manager, based in Saudi Arabia or Kuwait. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for commercial excellence, launch leadership, and portfolio growth in Emerging Markets (EM) and the EMEA region. You will be responsible for maximizing the commercial potential of the Imaavy portfolio in Emerging Markets while overseeing the EMEA Value Maximizers PAH portfolio. Your leadership will drive successful launches, sustain portfolio value, and identify untapped opportunities to enhance execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with OPCOs, Global teams, ESO, and regional stakeholders to maintain and grow the value of the portfolio. Oversee brand strategy, promotional activities, launch preparation, market data management, and lifecycle management.
- Launch Excellence & Pipeline Planning:
- Define brand positioning and strategy, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives.
- Establish launch readiness dashboards and provide pre-launch training for OPCOs.
- Conduct forecasting and resource planning, including GFLS assessments, to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and execute concrete launch plans in partnership with OPCOs, serving as a knowledge and communication hub between ESO and EM.
- Drive best practice sharing across EM OpCos and guide teams in identifying untapped opportunities to enhance execution excellence.
- Lead strategic planning exercises, both short-term and long-term, to align with business goals.
- Ongoing OPCO Support: Facilitate monthly functional commercial calls, ad hoc interactions, and best practice sharing. Identify and execute common projects to drive continuous improvement.
- Growth Initiatives: Lead projects to maximize brand potential by assessing different Go-To-Market models and developing robust business cases, including digital commercial projects.
- Brand Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute brand strategies, including Business Plans (BP), Long-Range Forecasts (LRFP), Integrated Business Plans (IBP), and Performance Management Reviews (PMR) to fully capitalize on market potential.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze performance metrics for products in scope, including Net Trade Sales (NTS) and Commercial OPEX/Brand Plans, to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Customer Engagement & Insights: Collaborate with external customers to gather market insights and translate them into actionable strategies and plans.
- Strategic Alignment: Partner with other therapeutic area teams and IBVT to maximize synergies and ensure strategic alignment across the organization.
- Strategic Alliances: Contribute to potential strategic alliance initiatives to drive growth and innovation.
Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in commercial leadership, strategic marketing, or related fields. Demonstrated expertise in launch management, portfolio growth, and cross-functional collaboration within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is essential. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills are critical to success in this role. Experience in Emerging Markets or the EMEA region is highly desirable.
