Position Overview

The Store Manager plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of Al Wafa Hypermarket in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site position requires a strategic leader who will oversee all aspects of store management, from staff coordination to merchandising and inventory control. The ideal candidate will ensure that store operations run smoothly, customer service remains exceptional, and business objectives are consistently met. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee daily store operations, including staff scheduling, sales floor supervision, and adherence to merchandising and inventory standards to ensure optimal product availability and presentation.
• Customer Experience: Monitor and elevate customer service standards, addressing escalated customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency to maintain a positive shopping experience.
• Loss Prevention: Implement and enforce retail loss prevention measures to minimize shrinkage and ensure compliance with security protocols, safeguarding both inventory and revenue.
• Sales & Performance Analysis: Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, developing and executing action plans to achieve store targets and drive profitability.
• Promotions & Marketing: Coordinate and execute promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with company strategies and maximizing customer engagement and sales impact.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures to maintain a secure, clean, and well-organized store environment.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate store staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture that supports both individual and team success.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a robust skill set in store management, including team leadership, staff supervision, and operational oversight. Strong customer service acumen is essential to maintain a positive shopping experience and resolve customer inquiries effectively. Excellent communication skills are required to facilitate seamless coordination with team members, senior management, and external stakeholders.

Candidates should demonstrate expertise in retail loss prevention, with a proven ability to minimize shrinkage and enforce security protocols. Relevant experience in retail or hypermarket environments, particularly in a supervisory or managerial capacity, is highly preferred. The ability to analyze sales data, manage inventory, and implement strategic action plans is critical to achieving store targets.

We seek a detail-oriented professional with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced retail environment. Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems is required, while fluency in both Arabic and English is advantageous. A relevant diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will also be considered.
