About the Role
Hays is collaborating with a distinguished boutique investment banking firm, affiliated with a leading family office in Riyadh, to identify a dynamic Investment Banking Manager to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in executing strategic transactions, including IPOs, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and advisory mandates, while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and family office principals to drive value and growth.
Key Responsibilities
The Investment Banking Manager will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
- Transaction Execution: Leading and executing IPOs, M&A transactions, and advisory mandates from inception to completion, ensuring seamless deal flow and adherence to client objectives.
- Financial Analysis & Valuation: Spearheading financial modelling and valuation exercises to assess investment opportunities, identify strategic synergies, and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders.
- Deal Management: Overseeing the entire deal lifecycle, from origination and pitch preparation to due diligence, negotiation, and final closure, while maintaining rigorous compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with senior leadership, family office principals, and external advisors to align on strategic priorities, mitigate risks, and maximize transaction outcomes.
- Market Intelligence: Monitoring industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to identify emerging opportunities and inform client strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: Must be a Saudi national, as this role requires close collaboration with local stakeholders and regulatory frameworks.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of five years of progressive experience in investment banking, with a proven track record in executing IPOs, M&A, and advisory transactions.
- Certifications: Possession of CME1 and CME5 certifications, which are mandatory for this position.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, valuation methodologies, and deal structuring, supported by a strong analytical mindset.
- Relocation: Must be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate to the city to fulfill the role’s responsibilities effectively.
- Deal Origination: While not a strict requirement, candidates with a proven ability to generate and originate deals will be highly advantageous. The firm maintains a dedicated business development function focused on sourcing new opportunities.
