Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports to provide accurate and timely insights into business performance. Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, and recommend corrective actions.
• Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic planning, investment evaluations, and long-term business decisions. Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts with a focus on accuracy and reliability.
• Profitability & Cost Analysis: Analyze revenue streams, operating costs, gross margins, and profitability across business units to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities. Perform detailed cost analysis and propose initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and optimize expenses.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Prepare cash flow forecasts and support effective working capital management to ensure financial stability and liquidity. Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to improve cash flow and reduce inefficiencies.
• Strategic Financial Support: Evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects, investments, and business initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Conduct feasibility studies and provide data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with Accounting, Operations, Sales, Procurement, and other departments to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Facilitate seamless communication between finance and operational teams to drive cohesive business strategies.
• Financial Closing & Audit Support: Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes by providing comprehensive financial analysis and reporting. Support internal and external audit requirements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accounting principles.
• Reporting & Automation: Develop and monitor financial KPIs and executive dashboards to track performance and support strategic decision-making. Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
• Regulatory Compliance & Industry Best Practices: Stay abreast of financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry trends to ensure adherence to best practices. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and reporting standards.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, or a similar analytical role. Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a strong asset.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and develop strategic recommendations. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
• Communication & Presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels. Experience in preparing management presentations and executive reports is preferred.
• Certifications & Professional Development: Professional certifications such as ACCA or ICAEW are highly advantageous. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry developments is essential.
