The Manager – Procurement Performance Management will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence within our procurement function, driving efficiency, compliance, and value creation across all procurement activities.
Role Overview
Reporting to senior leadership, the Manager – Procurement Performance Management will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing a robust performance management framework for procurement operations. This role is critical to enhancing procurement effectiveness, optimizing supplier performance, and aligning procurement activities with the strategic objectives of Qiddiya Investment Company. By leveraging data analytics, performance metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies, you will empower procurement teams to achieve operational excellence while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Metrics and KPI Development: Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive suite of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to monitor procurement efficiency, compliance, and value delivery across all procurement activities. Ensure these metrics are aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Data Analytics and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of procurement data to generate actionable insights, performance reports, and interactive dashboards. Track category and supplier performance against established targets, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner to support data-driven decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Proactively identify operational inefficiencies within procurement processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions. Lead continuous improvement projects that enhance procurement agility, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Support: Work closely with Business Unit procurement teams to provide guidance on performance tracking, improvement planning, and best practices. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering strategic recommendations to optimize procurement outcomes and support organizational growth.
- Supplier Performance Management: Oversee supplier performance by monitoring contract adherence, evaluating service delivery, and facilitating corrective actions where necessary. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure alignment with Qiddiya Investment Company’s standards and objectives.
- Culture of Excellence: Foster a high-performance culture within the procurement function by promoting accountability, innovation, and operational excellence. Encourage team members to adopt best practices, leverage technology, and pursue professional development opportunities to drive continuous growth.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is highly desirable.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in procurement performance management, data analytics, or operational excellence, with a proven track record in large-scale projects or complex organizational environments.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, performance measurement methodologies, and supplier management best practices. Proficiency in data visualization tools and procurement software, such as SAP, Ariba, or Prism, is essential.
- Analytical and Communication Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and lead initiatives that drive organizational success.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous. Experience working within the Saudi Arabian market or similar regional contexts is beneficial.
