Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead our global project execution initiatives, ensuring alignment with unified functional specifications and standardized processes. Key Responsibilities

The Project Engineering Manager will serve as the technical leader and primary point of contact for engineering activities, overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery. Core responsibilities include:

• Technical Leadership & Project Oversight: Define project scope, develop engineering plans, and monitor progress to ensure alignment with customer requirements and organizational objectives. Act as a liaison between key stakeholders, including proposal management, cost estimation, external partners, customers, GE Vernova Product Engineering, procurement, and engineering subcontractors.
• Strategic Contribution & Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest technical advancements within the discipline while contributing to the development of best practices and quality standards. Drive continuous improvement by integrating innovative solutions and ensuring competitive differentiation in the market.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Leverage deep technical expertise to analyze data, assess risks, and provide informed recommendations. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex operational, manufacturing, technological, or design challenges, fostering consensus and alignment.
• Team Development & Mentorship: Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced colleagues, sharing insights and fostering professional growth. Lead small to medium-sized projects with moderate risk profiles, demonstrating strong project management capabilities in planning, documentation, execution, and marketing.
• Influence & Decision-Making: Utilize professional judgment to make data-driven decisions, considering multiple internal and limited external sources. Develop persuasive communication skills to advocate for technical solutions and drive alignment across diverse teams.

Qualifications & Competencies

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in an accredited engineering discipline or equivalent field, complemented by extensive hands-on experience in project engineering or a related technical domain.
• Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of industry best practices, competitive landscape analysis, and the integration of engineering functions with broader organizational goals.
• Leadership & Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities to influence stakeholders and foster collaborative environments. Proven track record in problem-solving, project leadership, and consensus-building.
