In this transformative journey, we are seeking a highly motivated Officer, Government Relations to play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with government and regulatory requirements, thereby supporting our operational excellence and growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

As an Officer, Government Relations, you will be instrumental in maintaining Riyadh Air’s compliance with the regulatory frameworks of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Your responsibilities will include managing critical government-related processes to ensure the seamless onboarding, mobility, and operational readiness of our workforce. Specific duties include:

• Visa and Permit Management: Facilitating the timely filing, issuance, and renewal of visas, work permits, iqamas, exit and re-entry permits, and other essential documentation for both domestic and international employees.
• Documentation and Compliance: Preparing, reviewing, and submitting all necessary forms and supporting documents to relevant authorities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Maintaining meticulous records of visas, permits, licenses, and registrations to support compliance tracking and reporting.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Staying abreast of changes in laws and government regulations, assessing their impact on Riyadh Air’s operations, and communicating updates to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborating with internal departments, government agencies, and external partners to streamline processes, resolve issues, and ensure business continuity. Serving as a liaison to address inquiries and facilitate smooth transactions.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generating comprehensive reports on government-related activities, compliance status, and regulatory updates. Utilizing database reporting tools to retrieve information, analyse records, and present practical solutions tailored to organisational needs.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of academic qualifications and professional experience. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Government Relations, Human Resources, or a related field.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in government relations, corporate compliance, or a closely aligned discipline, with at least two years in an officer-level capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory processes, employee documentation requirements, and government transaction protocols within a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex, time-sensitive tasks with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, coupled with sound judgment to navigate sensitive matters and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Proficiency in database reporting, information retrieval, and standard business software, with the capability to prepare insightful reports and present data-driven solutions.
