Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals, ensuring all technical deliverables meet or exceed industry benchmarks and client expectations.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.
• Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on complex technical challenges, reviewing and approving design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with local and international standards.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and stakeholders, to streamline workflows, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless project delivery from concept to completion.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce rigorous quality control processes, conducting regular audits and performance evaluations to maintain the highest standards of technical excellence and client satisfaction.
• Innovation and Sustainability: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, sustainable design practices, and digital tools (e.g., BIM, CAD, and project management software) to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all design activities adhere to local regulations, safety protocols, and environmental laws, mitigating legal and operational risks while upholding the company’s reputation for integrity and professionalism.
• Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of resources, including personnel, materials, and technology, to optimize project budgets and timelines without compromising quality or safety.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and industry experience. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Mechanical), or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED, or Chartered Engineer) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in technical design, project management, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Proven track record of leading high-profile projects in real estate, construction, or infrastructure, with a deep understanding of technical design principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Primavera P6, or similar tools, along with experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital collaboration platforms.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including clients, team members, and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development, staying abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the design and construction industry.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required, with additional language skills considered a valuable asset.
