Driver / Delivery Driver – Hospitality Center Trading Co. (Dammam)

Hospitality Center Trading Co. is seeking a reliable and professional Driver / Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team in Dammam. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of goods to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities

• Safe and Efficient Transportation: Operate company vehicles, including vans or trucks, to transport goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Ensure the integrity of the cargo throughout the journey.
• Route Planning and Navigation: Utilize GPS systems and route planning tools to determine the most efficient delivery routes, minimizing travel time and fuel consumption. Adjust routes as necessary to accommodate traffic conditions, road closures, or customer requests.
• Customer Service and Communication: Represent the company with professionalism and courtesy when interacting with customers. Confirm delivery details, obtain necessary signatures, and address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
• Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure that the vehicle is in optimal working condition. Report any mechanical issues, damages, or maintenance needs to the appropriate department in a timely manner.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations, customer signatures, and any discrepancies or issues encountered during the route. Submit reports to the logistics team as required.
• Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Comply with all company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements, including those related to vehicle operation, load securing, and hazardous materials handling (if applicable).

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid Driver’s License: A valid Saudi driver’s license with a clean driving record. Additional certifications or endorsements (e.g., for heavy vehicles) are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional driver, preferably in a delivery or logistics environment. Prior experience in the hospitality or retail industry is advantageous.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, route planning software, and basic vehicle maintenance procedures. Proficiency in using mobile devices for tracking and reporting is desirable.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs) independently. Comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting, occasional bending, and loading/unloading cargo.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English. Ability to interact professionally with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Reliability and Punctuality: Demonstrated commitment to punctuality, dependability, and meeting delivery deadlines. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, as required by the business.
