Oracle EBS Finance Consultant

Position Overview

TCS (MEA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle EBS Finance Consultant to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering cutting-edge financial solutions using Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle Financial modules and a proven track record of implementing, configuring, and optimizing financial systems to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The Oracle EBS Finance Consultant will play a pivotal role in transforming financial processes through the configuration, customization, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite modules. The primary responsibilities include:

• Module Configuration & Maintenance: Set up, configure, and maintain critical financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CE), and Subledger Accounting (SLA). Ensure seamless integration and alignment with business requirements to enhance financial reporting and compliance.
• Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Lead interactive workshops with stakeholders to gather business requirements, perform comprehensive gap analysis, and document Business Requirement Documents (BRDs). Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable solutions.
• Testing & Documentation: Develop detailed functional design documents for system extensions, custom reports, and integrations. Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and ensure alignment with business objectives. Execute data migration strategies with precision to maintain data integrity and minimize disruptions.
• Production Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for daily production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution. Assist with critical month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial reconciliations, adjustments, and reporting. Work collaboratively with technical teams to develop and implement RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) solutions that enhance system performance and scalability.
• Banking & Financial Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of banking and financial operations, including treasury management, payment processing, and regulatory compliance. Leverage this knowledge to optimize financial workflows and improve overall system efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Technical Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, FA, CE, and SLA. Familiarity with Oracle Property Management module is considered a valuable asset.
• Functional Expertise: Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, banking operations, and regulatory requirements. Experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, and BRD documentation is essential.
• Problem-Solving & Communication: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels, including business users, technical teams, and senior management.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Proven ability to work in agile environments, lead cross-functional teams, and drive project deliverables to completion. Experience in production support and month-end/year-end financial activities is highly desirable.
• Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Oracle Financials certification or equivalent professional qualifications are a plus.
