Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Salesperson to join our retail team in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction, driving sales, and maintaining high merchandising standards. This position requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of customer needs, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. The successful applicant will contribute to achieving branch sales targets while delivering exceptional service to every customer.

Key Responsibilities

The Salesperson will be responsible for the following duties:

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, identify their requirements, provide detailed product information, and recommend suitable solutions to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
• Sales Execution: Actively promote products and ongoing promotions, meet individual and store sales targets, and employ effective questioning and upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Merchandising & Store Standards: Maintain visually appealing product displays, restock merchandise, verify pricing accuracy, ensure correct signage, and keep the sales floor tidy and well-organized.
• Product Knowledge: Develop and sustain comprehensive knowledge of product features, benefits, and promotions to confidently advise customers and address their inquiries.
• Point-of-Sale Operations: Operate cash registers and payment systems with precision, process transactions, returns, and exchanges in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Customer Service & Aftercare: Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalate complex issues to management when necessary, and follow up to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues and store leadership to meet daily operational objectives, participate in team meetings, and assist new team members in their onboarding process.
• Loss Prevention & Compliance: Adhere to cash-handling protocols, security measures, and company policies to safeguard assets and maintain a secure retail environment.
• Reporting: Provide timely feedback to store management regarding customer trends, inventory requirements, and sales performance to support data-driven decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Prior retail or sales experience is preferred; however, motivated entry-level candidates with exceptional customer service skills are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Communication: Fluency in both Arabic and English with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse customer groups.
• Customer Focus: A strong dedication to delivering friendly, responsive, and personalized service while fostering long-term customer relationships.
• Numeracy & Accuracy: Proficiency in handling cash transactions and basic arithmetic with a keen attention to detail.
• Physical Requirements: Capability to stand for extended periods, lift and transport stock as needed, and perform routine store maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Teamwork & Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, and adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic retail setting.
• Legal Eligibility: Must possess legal authorization to work in Saudi Arabia.
