Lead Multinational Operations Across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and China

Amtar Engineering Solutions Company, the engineering and operations division of a prominent Saudi construction materials trading group, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize its critical operations spanning Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and China. Based in our Alexandria office, you will serve as the linchpin of the organization, driving efficiency, precision, and strategic execution across all three regions. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination between our front office in Saudi Arabia, tendering team in Egypt, and sourcing team in China, while maintaining the highest standards of technical and commercial excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As the Operations Manager, you will be entrusted with the following core responsibilities:

• Cross-Regional Coordination: Manage the daily workflow and operational activities across our Saudi front office, Egypt tendering team, and China sourcing team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
• Deadline-Driven Execution: Own and enforce strict deadlines, guaranteeing that every enquiry from Saudi Arabia is transformed into a comprehensive and accurate offer within a 72-hour window. This requires meticulous planning, prioritization, and real-time problem-solving.
• Strategic Leadership: Report directly to the CEO in Saudi Arabia, providing strategic insights, operational updates, and actionable recommendations to enhance business performance and scalability.
• Process Development: Establish and refine the group's operating processes, standards, and operational rhythm from the ground up. Your role will shape the foundation for sustainable growth and operational excellence.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between regional teams, ensuring seamless communication, collaboration, and accountability across time zones (KSA, Egypt, and China).

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in construction, contracting, or materials trading operations. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Extensive Experience: A minimum of 8 years in operations management within the construction, contracting, or materials trading sectors, with a demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English, both written and spoken, to facilitate clear and effective communication across all regions.
• Regional Expertise: Prior experience working in Saudi Arabia or remotely for Saudi companies is highly preferred. You will bring an in-depth understanding of Saudi specifications, client expectations, and business dynamics, enabling you to navigate the unique challenges of the Saudi market with confidence.
• Time Zone Agility: Comfort and proficiency in coordinating operations across multiple time zones, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum productivity.
