Spital Nidwalden is a state-of-the-art acute care hospital with 90 beds, a dedicated team of approximately 600 professionals, and a commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare services. As part of the LUKS Group—a leading hospital network in Switzerland—we are dedicated to delivering coordinated, digitally integrated, and accessible healthcare around the clock. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Certified Health Professional (EFZ) 100% to join our general department on the second floor, starting August 1, 2026, or by mutual agreement.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Certified Health Professional (EFZ) at Spital Nidwalden, you will play a pivotal role in supporting patients throughout their stay, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and recovery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Care and Support: Provide expert, evidence-based guidance and assistance to patients, addressing their individual needs with professionalism and empathy.
- Mentorship and Development: Actively engage in the mentorship and support of trainees, fostering their professional growth and integration into the team.
- Change Management and Team Collaboration: Contribute to organizational change processes and team development initiatives, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Digital Proficiency: Utilize digital clinical information systems with confidence, embracing new technologies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Your Profile and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Certification: Hold a recognized diploma as a Certified Health Professional (EFZ).
- Professional Competence: Demonstrate the ability to maintain composure and clarity in high-pressure situations, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
