Senior Accountant – Real Estate Sector

Join a leading real estate company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as our new Senior Accountant, playing a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our financial operations. This role transcends traditional accounting, offering the opportunity to provide strategic financial insights that drive informed business decisions.

• Oversee the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance across real estate projects and business operations.
• Manage property sales, leasing transactions, commissions, and revenue recognition activities.
• Support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.
• Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management’s strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience within the real estate sector.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end closing.
• Experience with property accounting, real estate transactions, and investment activities.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in Arabic (required) and professional proficiency in English (preferred).
