Project Overview

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to contribute to one of the most ambitious and high-profile programmes currently underway in Saudi Arabia. The project is a groundbreaking mixed-use development that integrates world-class sports facilities, entertainment venues, arts and culture spaces, and essential infrastructure. As a key delivery partner, Mace is seeking seasoned, high-calibre professionals to lead integrated teams through every phase of this landmark initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Delivery: Develop and execute annual business plans to achieve defined outcomes within stipulated deadlines and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and organisational goals.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage technical resources, providing clear direction, mentorship, and oversight across all project and programme activities to drive cohesive and high-performing teams.
• Performance Reporting: Present management reviews and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability in project progress and outcomes.
• Business Development & Capability Building: Support business development initiatives, contribute to work-winning strategies, and lead technical training and capability development programmes to enhance team performance and organisational growth.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to management systems, technical governance frameworks, project standards, and clearly defined roles and responsibilities to maintain operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Design Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for design-related matters, driving continuous improvements in design management processes and delivery plans to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Procurement & Collaboration: Influence procurement strategies, address contractual and legal considerations, and work closely with PMO teams to ensure seamless and coordinated project delivery across all stakeholders.
• Technical Excellence & Sustainability: Champion technical excellence by leveraging organisational knowledge networks and centres of excellence, while supporting net zero carbon objectives through proactive carbon management and reduction initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will possess:

• A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional qualification).
• Substantial experience in technical leadership, engineering management, design management, or infrastructure delivery, with a proven track record on major projects.
• A robust understanding of technical governance, assurance processes, risk management, and the coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
