Technical Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technical and IT projects. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, infrastructure specialists, cybersecurity professionals, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution. Your expertise in project management methodologies, technical acumen, and leadership skills will be instrumental in driving projects to successful completion while adhering to scope, budget, and timeline constraints.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the following core duties:

• Project Planning and Execution: Define comprehensive project scopes, establish realistic timelines, set key milestones, and allocate resources efficiently to ensure project success.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the central liaison between technical teams, including software developers, QA engineers, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, as well as business stakeholders, to foster alignment and drive project objectives.
• Project Monitoring and Risk Management: Track project progress meticulously, identify potential risks and dependencies, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure timely delivery.
• Agile Methodology Leadership: Facilitate and oversee Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to maintain team productivity and continuous improvement.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, status reports, and stakeholder presentations to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Change Management: Evaluate and manage change requests, ensuring they align with business objectives and do not compromise project scope, budget, or timeline.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor project KPIs and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following educational and professional criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing technical or IT projects, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Technical Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate will possess the following technical proficiencies:

• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Comprehensive understanding of SDLC phases, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Agile and Scrum Methodologies: In-depth knowledge of Agile principles and Scrum frameworks, with practical experience applying them in project management.
• Project Management Tools: Proficiency in using industry-standard project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project, or Monday.com to streamline project workflows.
• Technical Acumen: Familiarity with software development processes, APIs, system integrations, and cloud-based environments, including platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Technical Documentation and Communication: Ability to interpret complex technical documentation and effectively communicate with engineering teams to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Experience with reporting dashboards and project tracking using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI is considered a strong advantage.
