Senior Consultant – Airport Terminal & MEP Asset Management

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant – Airport Terminal & MEP Asset Management to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. This role is pivotal in providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to optimize airport terminal operations and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) assets effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of airport infrastructure, asset lifecycle management, and sustainable operational practices to enhance efficiency, safety, and passenger experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Consultant will be responsible for a wide range of critical functions, including:

• Strategic Planning and Advisory: Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies tailored to airport terminals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. Provide expert recommendations on MEP system upgrades, maintenance optimization, and lifecycle cost reduction.
• Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of MEP assets, from acquisition and installation to operation, maintenance, and decommissioning. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Technical Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to execute MEP asset management projects, ensuring adherence to technical standards, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols. Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate innovative technologies and sustainable solutions.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and reliability of MEP systems. Generate detailed reports on asset performance, maintenance activities, and cost expenditures for senior management and clients.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between airport authorities, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and alignment. Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all MEP asset management activities comply with local and international regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize operational disruptions.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CMRP) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in airport terminal operations, MEP asset management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior consulting or leadership role. Prior work in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MEP systems, asset management software (e.g., IBM Maximo, SAP PM), and data analytics tools. Strong knowledge of airport infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and deliver high-impact solutions under tight deadlines.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
