Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and technical oversight for large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory standards. Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.
• Project Delivery Excellence: Oversee the technical aspects of project execution, from conceptual design to final commissioning. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and consultants to mitigate risks, resolve technical challenges, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Team Development & Mentorship: Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the technical team. Mentor engineers and junior staff, providing guidance on technical skills, career development, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, government entities, and internal stakeholders. Present technical proposals, conduct reviews, and ensure transparent communication to build long-term partnerships and secure future business opportunities.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects comply with local and international standards, including ISO, ASME, and Saudi Building Code. Implement robust quality control processes to maintain the highest levels of safety, reliability, and performance in all deliverables.
• Innovation & Sustainability: Drive the integration of sustainable design principles and digital transformation initiatives, such as BIM (Building Information Modeling), AI, and data analytics, to enhance project outcomes and reduce environmental impact.
• Business Development Support: Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new market opportunities, preparing technical proposals, and supporting sales teams in securing high-value contracts.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) is required. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CEng, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in engineering and project management, with at least 5 years in a senior technical leadership role. Proven track record in delivering complex infrastructure projects in the Middle East or similar markets is essential.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations, with hands-on experience in design, analysis, and construction methodologies. Familiarity with software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar is advantageous.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence stakeholders, manage conflicts, and drive consensus in high-pressure environments.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Certifications: Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional registration is preferred.
