Scrum Master / Agile Coach

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master / Agile Coach to join our dynamic team at Datamatics Technologies in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for fostering an Agile mindset within the organization, guiding teams toward continuous improvement, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects through the effective application of Scrum and Agile methodologies. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing team productivity, collaboration, and overall project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Agile Coaching: Act as a mentor and coach to teams and individuals, promoting Agile principles and practices while facilitating their adoption across the organization.
• Scrum Master Duties: Lead Scrum teams by facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and implement Agile best practices to streamline processes, enhance team performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, development teams, and senior leadership to ensure transparency, clear communication, and alignment with business objectives.
• Training and Development: Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to upskill teams and foster a culture of Agile excellence throughout the organization.
• Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team progress, identify bottlenecks, and recommend data-driven solutions for improvement.
• Change Management: Champion Agile transformation initiatives, addressing resistance to change and ensuring a smooth transition to Agile methodologies across departments.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Agile Coaching (IC-Agile) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile project management, with at least 3 years in a Scrum Master or Agile Coach role. Prior experience in the IT or technology sector is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps, and a solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams to adopt Agile practices. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities are essential.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and their application in diverse project environments. Knowledge of DevOps practices and Agile at scale is a plus.
