Associate Mktplace Consultant (Level 3) , 3P Softlines

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Marketplace Consultant (Level 3) for 3P Softlines to join our dynamic team at Afaq Q Tech General Trading in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to our clients, helping them optimize their presence on third-party marketplace platforms. Your expertise will drive sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence in the softlines category, which includes apparel, footwear, accessories, and home textiles.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketplace Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to design and implement tailored marketplace strategies that align with their business objectives, leveraging data-driven insights to maximize performance.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, sell-through rates, and customer reviews, providing actionable recommendations to improve visibility and profitability.
• Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison between clients and marketplace platforms, ensuring seamless communication, issue resolution, and adherence to platform policies and guidelines.
• Content & Catalog Management: Oversee the creation and optimization of product listings, including high-quality images, compelling descriptions, and accurate categorization, to enhance discoverability and appeal to target audiences.
• Pricing & Promotions Strategy: Develop and execute dynamic pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive traffic, increase sales, and maintain competitive positioning in the marketplace.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to track progress, identify trends, and present insights to stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Training & Support: Provide ongoing training and support to clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment with best practices and fostering a culture of excellence in marketplace operations.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Amazon Seller, eBay PowerSeller) are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in marketplace management, e-commerce, or retail operations, with a proven track record in the softlines category. Prior consultative or advisory experience is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace) and tools such as Seller Central, Vendor Central, or similar platforms. Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and marketplace-specific software is essential.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, capable of addressing challenges efficiently and adapting to evolving marketplace dynamics.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages are a valuable asset.
