Role Overview

In this pivotal position, you will play a critical role in supporting the Procurement Manager by overseeing the day-to-day procurement operations. Your responsibilities will encompass managing supplier order execution, monitoring delivery timelines, and ensuring adherence to established procurement processes across all organizational clusters. Key Responsibilities

• Order Execution and Supplier Management: Execute purchase orders with precision and maintain clear, professional communication with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Delivery Tracking and Proactive Issue Resolution: Monitor order statuses and delivery schedules, identifying potential delays early and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and maintain operational continuity.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance metrics to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Vendor Evaluation and Onboarding Support: Assist in evaluating potential suppliers, conducting due diligence, and facilitating their seamless onboarding to expand and strengthen our procurement network.
• Process Standardization and Improvement: Collaborate with the team to develop, refine, and enforce standardized procurement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that enhance efficiency and consistency across all procurement activities.
• Demand Planning Alignment: Work closely with the Demand Planning team to align procurement volumes with forecasted needs, optimizing inventory levels and reducing excess or shortage risks.

Qualifications and Skills

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end procurement cycles.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with ERP procurement modules, such as SAP or Oracle, and a strong aptitude for leveraging technology to streamline procurement processes.
• Industry Preference: Prior experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical procurement is highly desirable, given our focus on transforming the healthcare sector.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic is preferred, enabling effective communication with local suppliers and stakeholders.
