About the Role

As a Senior Specialist Operations Compliance at Coastal Transportation Services Company, a subsidiary of Red Sea Global, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation by ensuring operational excellence, regulatory adherence, and organizational governance across the Red Sea Global group of companies. This position is designed for a forward-thinking professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation and compliance intersect to drive transformative change. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance frameworks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and regulatory programs that support RSG’s strategic goals and commitment to sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide operational, analytical, and administrative support to the Director of Operations Compliance, contributing directly to RSG’s vision of revolutionizing land, air, and sea travel. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Compliance Framework Development and Maintenance:
    • Support the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of SOPs, SLAs, and operational procedures across RSG’s corporate functions and all operational subsidiaries.
    • Monitor adherence to compliance frameworks, identifying gaps and escalating remediation efforts to ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.
    • Maintain and update compliance documentation, registers, procedures, forms, templates, and records in accordance with RSG’s document control standards.
    • Ensure controlled documents are distributed, version-controlled, and archived consistently and in a timely manner.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly compliance reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and management summaries for senior leadership review.
    • Collect, validate, analyze, and maintain operational and compliance data from multiple business functions to support data-driven decision-making.
    • Develop and track compliance performance metrics and indicators, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Audit and Quality Assurance Support:
    • Assist in planning and conducting regular audits of operational processes, tracking the implementation of corrective actions to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
    • Support preparation for internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews, ensuring RSG remains at the forefront of compliance excellence.
    • Maintain audit findings logs and corrective action registers, ensuring timely closure of open items and fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Monitor applicable international and local regulatory requirements relevant to RSG’s operational domains, including land, marine, and air mobility.
    • Support coordination with regulatory bodies and internal RSG stakeholders on compliance matters, submissions, and regulatory reporting obligations.
    • Maintain and update regulatory compliance registers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with evolving regulatory landscapes.
  • Coordination and Stakeholder Management:
    • Coordinate meetings, workshops, awareness sessions, and compliance initiatives across RSG’s corporate operations and functional departments to foster collaboration and alignment.
    • Liaise with cross-functional RSG teams to collect compliance information, track assignments, and ensure seamless execution of compliance programs.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification in compliance, risk management, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in operations compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a senior or specialist role.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices in transportation, logistics, or mobility sectors.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement SOPs, SLAs, and compliance programs in a corporate or operational environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, reporting, and data management skills, with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive compliance initiatives across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
