Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Counter Salesman cum Showroom Incharge to oversee the daily operations of our Building Materials Showroom in Dammam. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of construction materials, plumbing, electrical supplies, tools, and civil & mechanical products, ensuring seamless customer service and efficient showroom management. This role demands a proactive professional capable of handling counter sales, customer inquiries, and inventory coordination with precision and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Showroom Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the showroom, ensuring a well-organized and visually appealing display of products to enhance customer experience.
• Counter Sales & Customer Service: Handle in-person and phone-based sales inquiries, provide expert product recommendations, and resolve customer queries to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
• Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment, and maintain accurate records of inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Product Knowledge & Consultation: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of construction materials, plumbing, electrical, tools, and civil & mechanical products to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
• Billing & Administrative Tasks: Process transactions efficiently using the showroom’s billing system, generate invoices, and maintain organized records of sales and customer interactions.
• Team Leadership (if applicable): Supervise and mentor a team of sales associates, ensuring they adhere to company standards and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years in sales within the building materials, hardware, or related industries, with a proven track record in counter sales and showroom management.
• Product Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction materials, plumbing, electrical supplies, tools, and civil & mechanical products, along with an understanding of their applications in various projects.
• Customer Service: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with customers and address their needs effectively.
• Independence & Problem-Solving: Ability to manage the showroom independently, troubleshoot issues, and make timely decisions to ensure smooth operations.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with basic computer applications and billing systems to streamline transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment.
