Head of Learning Evaluation & Assessment

About the Role

Noon Academy is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Learning Evaluation & Assessment to lead our efforts in measuring, analyzing, and enhancing the effectiveness of our learning programs. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing and implementing robust evaluation frameworks, ensuring that our educational initiatives deliver measurable impact and align with our mission of transforming education through technology. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of assessment methodologies, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement in learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive evaluation strategy that aligns with Noon Academy’s long-term goals, ensuring that all learning programs are assessed for effectiveness, engagement, and educational value.
• Framework Development: Design and implement innovative assessment frameworks, including formative and summative evaluations, to measure learner progress, program efficacy, and pedagogical impact. Leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision-making.
• Data Analysis & Insights: Lead the analysis of assessment data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive curriculum enhancements, instructional design improvements, and policy adjustments.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with academic teams, instructional designers, product managers, and senior leadership to ensure that evaluation processes are integrated into all phases of program development and delivery. Foster a culture of data literacy across the organization.
• Technology Integration: Evaluate and recommend assessment tools and technologies that enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of learning evaluations. Stay abreast of emerging trends in EdTech to ensure Noon Academy remains at the forefront of educational innovation.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all evaluation processes comply with relevant educational standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Maintain alignment with accreditation bodies and internal quality assurance frameworks.
• Team Management: Build and mentor a high-performing team of assessment specialists, data analysts, and evaluation experts. Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning.
• Reporting & Communication: Develop clear, concise, and compelling reports for stakeholders at all levels, including executives, educators, and investors. Present findings and recommendations in a manner that drives informed decision-making and strategic alignment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Master’s degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Statistics, Educational Technology, or a related field. A Ph.D. or professional certification in assessment and evaluation is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in learning evaluation, assessment design, or educational research, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Experience in the EdTech sector or a similar dynamic environment is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in statistical analysis, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and assessment platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, or proprietary systems). Familiarity with learning analytics and AI-driven evaluation tools is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data sets, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights. Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
• Leadership & Communication: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
