Business Performance Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Business Performance Analyst to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the financial and operational trajectory of our company. Your responsibilities will include:

• Financial Planning & Budgeting:
  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and annual budgets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and optimize cash flow dynamics while ensuring efficient capital allocation across business units.
  • Evaluate business scenarios and assess the feasibility of new investments, expansions, or operational initiatives.
• Business Performance & KPI Tracking:
  • Define, track, and analyze critical financial and operational KPIs to measure growth, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of key metrics such as churn rate, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), Lifetime Value (LTV), conversion rates, and gym occupancy rates.
  • Perform cohort analysis to uncover customer behavior trends, retention drivers, and opportunities for engagement improvements.
• Profitability Optimization & Strategic Insights:
  • Analyze fixed and variable costs to identify high-impact cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
  • Benchmark financial performance across locations to pinpoint underperforming areas and recommend targeted improvements.
  • Develop data-driven revenue enhancement strategies, including pricing adjustments, membership optimization, and promotional initiatives.
• Reporting & Data Visualization:
  • Build and maintain real-time, interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio to visualize financial and operational performance trends.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reports that provide clear, concise, and actionable insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into compelling narratives that drive informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring the following expertise and attributes:

• Professional Experience:
  • 3 to 7 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Analysis, or Data Analytics.
  • Proven track record in fast-paced industries such as fitness, retail, SaaS, subscription-based businesses, or franchises.
  • Hands-on experience with subscription models and deep familiarity with key performance metrics, including churn, LTV, CAC, Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), and cohort analysis.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with expertise in financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio to create dynamic and insightful reports.
  • Working knowledge of SQL is considered a strong advantage for extracting and manipulating data from databases.
  • Familiarity with ERP or financial software systems is a plus.
