Your Role as a Meeting & Events Executive

As a Meeting & Events Executive at Accor, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating seamless and memorable experiences for our clients. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of an event, from initial inquiry to final handover, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned and executed. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships that foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement and Proposal Management: Handle incoming inquiries, craft compelling proposals, and convert leads into confirmed bookings. Your ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions will be instrumental in driving sales and client satisfaction.
• Event Planning and Coordination: Plan and organize events with precision, ensuring all logistical aspects are addressed. Collaborate closely with the operations team to facilitate a smooth handover and execution of events, guaranteeing a flawless experience for attendees.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and anticipating their needs. Your proactive approach will help identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling additional services.
• Site Management and Show Rounds: Conduct site visits and lead show rounds to showcase Accor’s venues and facilities. Your expertise will help clients visualize their events and make informed decisions.
• Operational Support: Utilize Opera Cloud to update event details and prepare weekly function sheets, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and catering, to deliver cohesive and high-quality event experiences.
• Upselling and Sales Support: Identify opportunities to enhance client value by proposing additional services or upgrades. Support the wider sales team in achieving revenue targets and expanding Accor’s market presence.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in event planning, sales, or a related field within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
