Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Operational Excellence (OPEX) processes, procedures, and documentation adhere to the stringent requirements of ISO 9001 and our organization’s Quality Management System (QMS). Your expertise will be instrumental in driving process improvement, maintaining compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous enhancement across all operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance and Documentation Management: Review, update, and maintain OPEX procedures to ensure full alignment with ISO 9001 standards and the company’s QMS. Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Internal Auditing and Corrective Actions: Conduct thorough internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement. Lead and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) initiatives to address non-conformities and mitigate risks.
• Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Track and analyze compliance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of quality processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for operational enhancement and implement sustainable improvements.
• Process Optimization and Control: Utilize advanced methodologies such as Business Process Management (BPM) and Process Mining to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency. Ensure robust document control systems are in place to maintain data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business teams across departments to align quality objectives with operational goals. Provide guidance and support to ensure that all teams adhere to established quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management, or Process Improvement, with a proven track record of success in similar roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in ISO 9001, QMS, internal auditing, and document control methodologies.
• Preferred experience in the cement industry or heavy manufacturing environments, where adherence to stringent quality standards is critical.
• Familiarity with Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle, and Process Mining tools is highly desirable.
