Join KPMG Saudi Arabia's M&A Advisory Team as a Director in Riyadh

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our M&A Advisory team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in M&A advisory, corporate finance, or investment banking, with a strong focus on the KSA and UAE markets.

  • Deal Origination & Business Development:
  • Lead generation of sell-side and buy-side mandates across KSA and UAE.
  • Prepare and present compelling pitch materials, Information Memorandums, and strategic advisory frameworks at board and ExCo level.
  • Maintain an active pipeline, tracking market intelligence and building proprietary deal flow in collaboration with sector leads and Partners.
  • Transaction Execution:
  • Lead end-to-end execution of M&A advisory mandates, from mandate win to closing.
  • Oversee preparation of high-quality transaction documents, including Information Memorandums, management presentations, process letters, and data room management.
  • Drive valuation work and lead commercial negotiations.
  • Manage vendor and buyer-side processes, including management Q&A sessions, exclusivity negotiations, and conditions to closing.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with tax, legal, debt advisory, strategy, and integration specialists across the firm.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary senior point of contact for clients, maintaining trust and managing expectations throughout transactions.
  • Develop deep, multi-contact relationships across target accounts to position the firm for follow-on mandates and expand wallet share.
  • Provide strategic counsel on deal timing, structure, and market positioning.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a deal team, setting high standards for analytical rigour, client communication, and professional conduct.
  • Review and quality-assure all client deliverables prior to distribution.
  • Contribute to recruitment, performance reviews, and the development of best-practice methodologies within the team.

Required experience includes 10-12 years in M&A advisory, corporate finance, or investment banking, with a demonstrated track record of leading and closing sell-side and/or buy-side M&A transactions in KSA. Proficiency in Arabic and English languages is essential, along with sector depth in at least one of the following: Technology & Media, Industrials & Business Services, Consumer & Retail, Healthcare, or Energy & Infrastructure.

Candidates should possess commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, strong project management capabilities, collaborative leadership, high emotional intelligence, and political intelligence when managing complex multi-stakeholder processes.
