Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Engineer at Rakaez Al-Memar Consultancy Company, your core responsibilities will include:

• Design and Development: Create detailed mechanical designs and schematics using advanced CAD software, ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulatory standards, and best practices in engineering.
• Analysis and Simulation: Perform comprehensive structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics analyses to validate design integrity, identify potential risks, and propose effective solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, civil engineers, and project managers, to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into broader construction and infrastructure projects.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, including engineering reports, drawings, and specifications, to support project execution and compliance with industry regulations.
• Site Supervision and Support: Provide on-site technical support during construction and installation phases, ensuring that mechanical systems are implemented according to design intent and resolving any field-related challenges promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record in designing and managing mechanical systems for construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Profound expertise in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit), finite element analysis (FEA) tools, and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB). Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local and international mechanical engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations, particularly those applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal, is essential for effective collaboration and project documentation.
