Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic IT Infrastructure & Operations Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and management of our organization’s IT infrastructure and service operations across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, scalability, and compliance of our infrastructure services, enterprise and cloud networks, cloud platforms, and end-user support systems. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, align technology with business objectives, and foster a resilient, high-performance IT environment. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional with deep technical expertise and the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted IT operations while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Infrastructure & Operations Administrator will oversee a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including:

• IT Helpdesk and Technical Support Leadership: Manage the IT helpdesk function to ensure prompt resolution of incidents, service requests, operational issues, and escalations, maintaining high levels of user satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Oversee Active Directory and IAM operations, including user provisioning, access reviews, group policy administration, role-based access control (RBAC), and privileged access coordination to safeguard organizational assets.
• Infrastructure Design and Administration: Lead the design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of critical infrastructure components, such as servers, networks, storage systems, telecommunications, virtualization platforms, operating systems, system software, and cloud services to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Enterprise and Cloud Networking: Design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise and cloud networking environments, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routing, switching, DNS, load balancers, VPC/VNet architecture, network segmentation, and hybrid cloud connectivity to meet business requirements.
• Cloud Environment Management: Manage cloud environments by provisioning and configuring resources, enforcing identity and access management policies, optimizing networking, monitoring performance, governing resources, enhancing security posture, and controlling costs to maximize operational efficiency.
• Cloud Adoption and Migration: Lead cloud adoption and migration initiatives, including landing-zone design, workload migration, cloud governance, data residency compliance, network connectivity, and service optimization to drive digital transformation and scalability.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop, maintain, and regularly test disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical infrastructure, network, and cloud services to minimize downtime and ensure operational resilience.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure infrastructure, network, and cloud environments comply with applicable security standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements, including NCA and PDPL mandates, to mitigate risks and maintain organizational integrity.
• Project Management: Plan, manage, and deliver infrastructure, networking, and cloud projects within defined scope, budget, timeline, quality, and security parameters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with application, cybersecurity, digital, and business teams to integrate infrastructure and network services seamlessly with business applications and technology initiatives, fostering innovation and operational synergy.
• System Maintenance and Updates: Manage technical changes, system upgrades, patching, preventive maintenance, and security updates for infrastructure, network devices, operating systems, and software components to maintain system integrity and performance.
• Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Monitor infrastructure, networks, systems, cloud services, and electronic services to ensure stability, availability, performance, capacity, and efficient resource utilization, proactively addressing issues before they escalate.
• Incident Management and Escalation: Handle major incidents and operational issues by coordinating resolution activities, escalating where necessary, and ensuring thorough follow-up with internal teams and external vendors to restore services promptly.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare periodic and on-demand reports covering infrastructure status, network availability, service performance, incidents, risks, projects, capacity, and improvement initiatives to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Technology Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging infrastructure, networking, cloud, and operations technologies, evaluating their potential to enhance operational efficiency, security, and business value, and recommending their adoption where appropriate.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with management, vendors, technical teams, and relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency, alignment, and successful execution of IT initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates for this role should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, operations, and cloud management is required, with a proven track record of leading complex IT projects and teams. Strong expertise in Active Directory, IAM, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms is essential.
