MEP Inspector - Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated MEP Inspector to join our team, supporting the inspection and quality assurance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that MEP installations align with approved designs, specifications, and industry standards.

• Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive site inspections of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical installations
• Verify contractor compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and local codes
• Monitor construction activities and report deviations or non-conformances
• Collaborate with contractors and project teams to resolve technical issues
• Review MEP shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
• Prepare detailed daily inspection reports and maintain accurate records
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover processes for MEP systems
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance in all work activities
• Support project engineers with technical site inspections and documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Diploma in a related engineering discipline with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
• Solid knowledge of MEP systems and construction practices
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IEC, ASHRAE)
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to quality assurance
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools is an asset
• Ability to work effectively on-site with multi-disciplinary teams
