ERP & System Administrator

About the Role

Baazeem Trading Company is seeking a skilled and proactive ERP & System Administrator to oversee and enhance our IT infrastructure and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC365) ERP environment. This critical role is designed to ensure seamless system operations, robust security, and uninterrupted business continuity across all company locations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ERP administration, system infrastructure, and cybersecurity, with a proven track record in delivering technical excellence and user support.

Key Responsibilities

• ERP Administration: Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC365) to align with business objectives, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• IT Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, databases, virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware), and network infrastructure to support business operations.
• Cloud and Collaboration Services: Manage Microsoft 365 services, Active Directory, cloud solutions, and user accounts to facilitate efficient collaboration and secure access.
• System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor system performance, diagnose hardware, software, network, and ERP-related issues, and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
• System Upgrades and Maintenance: Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and infrastructure improvements to enhance functionality, security, and efficiency.
• Data Protection and Recovery: Perform and oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity in the event of disruptions.
• Database and Security Management: Maintain optimal database performance, storage capacity, and system security by implementing cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, and access controls.
• IT Support and Helpdesk Leadership: Lead IT support and helpdesk activities, providing expert guidance and timely resolutions to user issues across multiple locations.
• Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, system configurations, and IT procedures to ensure clarity and consistency in operations.
• Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors for hardware, software, licenses, and technical support to ensure cost-effective and reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in System Administration and ERP Administration, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC365) or similar ERP systems.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualization, SQL databases, backup solutions, storage management, and disaster recovery.
• Cybersecurity Expertise: Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and compliance requirements to protect organizational assets.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support and train users across diverse locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Microsoft certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, or Dynamics 365 are highly desirable.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in FMCG or distribution companies, with an understanding of industry-specific ERP requirements.
• Advanced Skills: Knowledge of ERP integrations, automation tools, and reporting solutions to drive operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
