Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Faculty Member specializing in Finance to join our esteemed academic institution in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

The Faculty Member will be responsible for a range of academic and administrative duties designed to enhance the learning experience and ensure the delivery of a robust and relevant curriculum. The primary responsibilities include:

• Curriculum Development and Delivery: Design and prepare comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the curriculum objectives. Utilize innovative and engaging teaching methodologies to facilitate effective learning and knowledge retention.
• Student Mentorship and Support: Provide guidance and mentorship to students through assignments, projects, and academic progress reviews. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages intellectual growth and professional development.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer assessments, quizzes, and examination papers to evaluate student performance. Conduct thorough and timely evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement and academic achievement.
• Academic Integrity and Compliance: Ensure adherence to institutional policies, academic regulations, and quality assurance standards. Maintain the integrity of assessments through vigilant invigilation and adherence to established protocols.
• Data Management and Reporting: Accurately record attendance, grades, and academic data in the Student Information System (SIS) and Learning Management System (LMS) within stipulated timelines. Monitor student performance and provide timely academic support to address any challenges.
• Curriculum Enhancement and Quality Assurance: Actively participate in curriculum development, moderation, and quality assurance initiatives to ensure academic programs remain relevant, rigorous, and aligned with industry standards.
• Professional Development and Institutional Engagement: Attend departmental meetings, faculty development programs, and professional training sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of industry trends. Contribute to admissions processes, orientations, workshops, seminars, and other academic or promotional activities as assigned.
• Institutional Initiatives and Events: Participate actively in on-campus events, institutional initiatives, and community engagement activities to promote the institution’s mission and values.
• Administrative Duties: Fulfill any additional academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Academic Management to support the overall functioning of the department and institution.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Background: A PhD in Finance or a closely related field is required.
• Teaching Experience: Proven experience in teaching finance-related subjects at the higher education level, with a demonstrated ability to engage students and deliver high-quality instruction.
• Communication and Presentation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
• Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Student Information Systems (SIS), and other educational technologies is highly preferred.
