Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager – Hospitality & Hotels to join our esteemed team in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

• Market Expansion & Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate and expand within the hospitality and hotel segments in Saudi Arabia. Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and untapped opportunities.
• Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Lead the end-to-end process of acquiring new clients, including prospecting, pitching, and negotiating contracts. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel owners, operators, and investors, to ensure sustained business growth.
• Revenue Growth & Performance Tracking: Drive revenue generation by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, optimizing pricing strategies, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
• Partnership Development: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to create synergistic partnerships that enhance service delivery and client satisfaction. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to strengthen brand visibility and credibility.
• Regulatory & Compliance Adherence: Ensure all business development activities comply with local laws, regulations, and industry standards in Saudi Arabia. Stay abreast of policy changes and market dynamics that may impact the hospitality sector.
• Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations. Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders to align expectations and foster trust.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMP, CHA) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or account management within the hospitality or hotel industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. Prior experience in the Saudi or GCC market is highly desirable.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the hospitality sector, including hotel operations, revenue management, and emerging trends such as digital transformation and sustainability initiatives.
• Key Competencies:

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
