Project Manager – Construction (Fit-Out, F&B & Retail)

Position Overview

Qureos Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager – Construction (Fit-Out, F&B & Retail) to oversee and deliver high-quality construction projects in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders. This role demands a strategic leader with a strong background in fit-out, food & beverage (F&B), and retail construction projects, capable of driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Ensure projects are executed in alignment with client expectations and organizational objectives.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams. Facilitate effective communication to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless project progression.
• Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Enforce rigorous quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, supervisors, and laborers. Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Contractor & Vendor Coordination: Oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensure timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Implement and enforce HSE policies to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Conduct regular safety training and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and as-built drawings. Provide timely updates to senior management and clients on project status and milestones.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in managing fit-out, F&B, and retail construction projects is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project), AutoCAD, and BIM tools. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory requirements.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Certifications: Valid PMP, LEED, or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Knowledge of Saudi construction laws and regulations is a strong advantage.
