SKILLED HELPER

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Skilled Helper to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will work closely with Operators and Lead Operators to ensure efficient and high-quality packing processes while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and environmental standards. Your responsibilities will include executing packing tasks, organizing finished goods, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives within our Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management system.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing Process Execution: Perform packing duties under the direct supervision of the Operator and Lead Operator, ensuring adherence to established procedures and quality standards.
• Instruction Compliance: Follow detailed instructions provided by the Operator and Assistant Operator to maintain consistency and precision in all tasks.
• Pallet Organization: Arrange finished goods on pallets in a structured and secure manner, optimizing space and ensuring safe handling for transportation.
• Safety and Environmental Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and environmental guidelines, including active participation in toolbox talks led by the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) officer. Identify and report potential hazards to maintain a safe workplace.
• OH&S Management System Engagement: Contribute to the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the OH&S management system. Participate in performance assessments and improvement actions to enhance workplace safety and operational efficiency.
• Collaborative Participation: Engage in cross-functional consultations to support the continuous improvement of processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
