The Director of Nursing is a pivotal role responsible for leading the Nursing Department and ensuring exceptional patient care. This position is accountable for managing the department, setting strategic objectives, and driving superior quality nursing services that are efficient, timely, and cost-effective.

• Contribute to strategic objectives through managing direct reports and cascading department goals.
• Provide direction and advice to direct reports, ensuring KPIs are communicated and monitored.
• Oversee resource allocation and utilization within the department.
• Represent nursing staff as a hospital leader, participating in decision-making processes and multi-disciplinary structures.
• Develop and communicate the vision and mission statement of the Nursing Department.
• Establish, oversee, and approve nursing policies, procedures, and professional standards of practice.
• Ensure patient safety and staff safety through collaboration with other hospital leaders.
• Oversee patient transfer and discharge processes.
• Implement effective methods for organizing patient care delivery.
