Key Responsibilities

• Content Validation: Conduct comprehensive reviews of e-learning modules to verify alignment with predefined learning objectives, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical effectiveness.
• Usability Testing: Perform detailed usability assessments to evaluate the learner experience, identifying potential friction points and recommending enhancements for intuitive navigation and engagement.
• Defect Management: Systematically identify, document, and track discrepancies, inconsistencies, or technical issues within e-learning content, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborative Improvement: Partner with instructional designers to refine content based on testing outcomes, feedback, and evolving educational best practices, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement.
• Technical Compatibility: Execute rigorous compatibility testing across a range of devices, browsers, and learning management systems (LMS) to guarantee seamless accessibility and performance.
• Quality Assurance Framework: Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance protocols tailored to e-learning development, ensuring consistency and reliability in all deliverables.
• Team Development: Provide guidance and training to colleagues on quality assurance methodologies, empowering them to integrate best practices into their workflows.
• Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in e-learning and quality assurance, applying insights to elevate our products and processes.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in quality assurance or testing within the e-learning or digital education sector.
• Proficiency in industry-standard e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate, with the ability to navigate and evaluate complex digital learning environments.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and a strong understanding of SCORM/AICC standards to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• In-depth knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories, enabling you to assess the efficacy of learning experiences critically.
• Exceptional analytical acumen and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to discern subtle issues that may impact user experience or content integrity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and articulate feedback constructively.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in user experience (UX) testing is advantageous, as it enhances your ability to evaluate and improve the learner’s journey.
