Key Responsibilities

The Recreation Attendant will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction across all areas of our facility. Your duties will include:

• Maintenance and Cleanliness: Ensuring that both the main and children’s swimming pools, as well as all health club areas, are consistently clean and well-maintained. This includes reporting any maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate team members.
• Pool and Lounging Areas: Keeping sun loungers free of debris and ensuring the pool deck is swept and watered down daily. You will also be responsible for setting up and organizing furniture in the correct positions each morning.
• Guest Assistance: Providing a warm welcome to guests upon their arrival at Bodylines, offering tours of the facility, and sharing detailed information about membership options, pricing, and club amenities.
• Facility Upkeep: Assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of all operational areas, including changing rooms, to ensure they are free of litter, used towels, and other debris.
• Guest Relations: Addressing guest complaints promptly and escalating them to management when necessary. Your ability to handle concerns with professionalism and empathy will be critical to maintaining a positive guest experience.
• Hygiene Standards: Adhering to and promoting high standards of personal hygiene to uphold the cleanliness and reputation of the facility.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:

• Education and Experience: A diploma or vocational training in sports, leisure, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or recreational facility is advantageous. Proficiency in swimming is a mandatory requirement.
• Physical Fitness: The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including long hours of standing, lifting, and working in outdoor environments, is essential.
