Business System Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business System Analyst to join our dynamic team at Central Bank District Analytics in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that our systems and processes align seamlessly with organizational objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in analyzing business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving the implementation of effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Process Analysis: Conduct in-depth assessments of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for enhancement. Collaborate with department heads and end-users to gather requirements and document workflows accurately.
• Requirements Elicitation: Facilitate workshops, interviews, and surveys to elicit and prioritize business requirements. Translate these requirements into clear, actionable specifications for development teams, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• System Evaluation & Recommendations: Analyze current business systems, including software, tools, and infrastructure, to recommend improvements or upgrades. Assess the feasibility of integrating new technologies to support business objectives.
• Solution Design & Implementation: Work closely with IT teams to design, develop, and deploy business solutions that address identified needs. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to facilitate smooth transitions during system implementations or process modifications. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure adoption and minimize disruption.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions. Generate reports and dashboards to track progress, identify trends, and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors. Communicate project statuses, risks, and milestones clearly and concisely to ensure transparency and alignment across all parties.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess a blend of analytical prowess, technical acumen, and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, or ITIL) are a plus.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Business System Analyst, preferably within the financial services or banking sector.
• Familiarity with business analysis methodologies such as BPMN, UML, or Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or relevant technical domains are highly desirable.
