Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Commissioning Engineer (PMC), your core responsibilities will include:

• Project Leadership: Lead the commissioning process for large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or energy projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on commissioning methodologies, systems integration, and performance testing to verify that all components meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication, resolve technical challenges, and mitigate risks during the commissioning phase.
• Documentation & Compliance: Develop and maintain comprehensive commissioning plans, procedures, and reports, ensuring full compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and client expectations.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Identify and address commissioning-related issues promptly, implementing corrective actions to minimize delays and ensure operational efficiency.
• Team Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and commissioning staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

Qualifications & Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in commissioning management is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in commissioning, preferably within the oil & gas, power, or infrastructure sectors, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in commissioning tools, testing methodologies, and industry software (e.g., SCADA, DCS, or PLC systems). Strong understanding of international codes and standards (e.g., ISO, API, ASME).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar are highly desirable.
