Job Overview

DePuy Synthes is seeking a highly motivated Senior Finance Analyst (SFA), DS MEA to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role will serve as a strategic financial partner to the commercial team, driving profitable growth and supporting key business decisions through insightful financial analysis. The Senior Finance Analyst will play a central role in financial forecasting, reporting, and data analysis, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. Additionally, this position will oversee Saudi Arabia-specific financial processes and projects, offering high visibility and the opportunity to directly influence business performance during a transformative period of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Partnering:
  • Collaborate closely with the commercial team to drive profitable growth and inform strategic business decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to foster alignment and transparency.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions, including evaluating tender pricing, investments, and business cases.
  • Challenge business assumptions, develop alternative scenarios, and educate stakeholders on financial concepts and ownership.
  • Lead financial support for Saudi-specific processes and projects in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Actively participate in local business planning, budget updates, and strategic initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support the financial planning process.
  • Contribute to financial closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Monitor performance against targets, identify trends, and proactively highlight risks and opportunities for early intervention.
• Internal Controls:
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, WWP, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Support compliance activities, including internal and external audits, to uphold financial integrity and transparency.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (required). An MBA or professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or operational finance roles.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to create executive-facing dashboards and reports.
