Performance Management Senior Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Performance Management Senior Manager to join our Finance team in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the operational framework of the Performance and Capital Management department, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while maintaining robust governance, risk management, and internal control systems. Your expertise will drive the development of critical management information (MI) to support data-driven decision-making across the organization, while also overseeing financial and non-financial reporting, audit compliance, and cost management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Governance and Risk Management: Establish and enforce the department’s operational framework, providing leadership and guidance to ensure seamless implementation and continuous review of work processes. Oversee the adherence to risk-related policies, including operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational, and audit risks, to safeguard organizational integrity.
• Internal Controls and Audit Compliance: Review and strengthen internal control systems in accordance with regulatory requirements and operating procedures. Address audit findings through corrective actions, ensuring robust compliance and mitigating potential risks. Act as a liaison with external auditors, addressing queries and resolving issues during financial audits to maintain transparency and accountability.
• Management Information and Reporting: Develop and deliver key management information (MI) systems in collaboration with the Head of Capital and Performance Management. This includes the regular production of financial and non-financial metrics to support strategic and operational decision-making. Manage ad hoc reporting requests from senior leadership to provide timely insights and analysis.
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Support the consolidation of annual operating and strategic plans across functions and products, ensuring accurate system integration and reporting. Prepare and submit costing, budgetary variance reports, and financial KPI analyses to enable effective management decision-making. Monitor cost allocation methodologies in alignment with organizational policies and approved allocation matrices.
• Operational Excellence and Process Improvement: Centralize the production of business finance under the MI Production unit within Finance. Standardize invoice processing for SAB subsidiaries in accordance with approved Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to enhance efficiency and compliance. Drive continuous improvement by monitoring process compliance and implementing corrective measures where necessary.
• Regulatory and Statutory Compliance: Develop and maintain internal reporting systems in compliance with statutory rules and accounting practices. Ensure the operationalization of SAB ALCM policies within IT systems and address any action points raised during internal or external audits to uphold financial integrity.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial performance management, with a strong background in financial reporting, audit coordination, and risk management. Prior experience in a senior managerial role within a corporate finance environment is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Management Information (MI) systems, including maintenance, adjustment posting, and report generation. Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools is required.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external auditors.
