In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization by managing the end-to-end Order-to-Cash cycle with precision and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for a comprehensive range of financial activities that underpin our revenue cycle management. Your core duties will include:

• Order-to-Cash Cycle Management: Oversee the complete Order-to-Cash process, from validating customer orders and generating accurate invoices to processing adjustments and ensuring alignment with contractual terms and financial records.
• Billing and Invoicing: Generate and distribute invoices in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Cash Application and Payment Processing: Accurately apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain up-to-date records to support cash flow management.
• Collections and Credit Control: Monitor aging balances, initiate collections activities, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve outstanding invoices or payment issues. Assess customer creditworthiness and enforce credit policies to mitigate financial risk.
• Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies in collaboration with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue integrity.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Contribute to month-end closing activities, prepare accurate financial reports, and ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and audit requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance AR processes and financial controls.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, order management, operations, and finance, to maintain seamless process continuity and safeguard revenue integrity.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring a strong foundation in finance and accounts receivable operations, coupled with a commitment to excellence and innovation. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in accounts receivable, credit monitoring, billing, cash application, collections, dispute management, or order management. Prior experience in a structured finance environment is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in ERP financial systems, with a solid command of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools. Familiarity with credit control, risk assessment, and customer account reconciliation is essential.
• Analytical and Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement are critical.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers. A collaborative mindset and a commitment to teamwork are vital for success in this role.
• Compliance and Audit Support: Experience supporting audit or control activities, ensuring adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements.
